Traditional Chinese Medicine is a vast medicine that incorporates a wide range of different modalities in order to achieve, and maintain, a healthy state. Here is a list of different modalities that are used in treatments.

Acupuncture uses stainless steel needles that are inserted into biologically significant pressure points on the body. This modality essentially causes a small amount of trauma when the needle breaks the skin which increases the bodies natural collagen and white blood cell production. This helps to decrease inflammation in the body. Along with white blood cell count, it also helps to increase serotonin levels (aka our “happy hormone”). This increase of serotonin of your serotonin levels allows your central nervous system to regulate.

Subconscious Imprinting

Subconscious Imprinting Technique is one of the quickest and most effective ways to discover and remove the subconscious beliefs, decisions and patterns that are negatively influencing your life and health.

How does Subconscious Imprinting work?
There are 4 steps you will go through during a s.i.t session
1. REASON: You and your practitioner will get clarity on the Reason for your session and what you’re looking to achieve.
2. REVEAL: Through conversation (and/or muscle testing when required), we’ll Reveal the “root cause” of the disharmony or dis-ease you’re experiencing in your physical, emotional or spiritual life.
3. REPROGRAM: The root-cause is often a hidden belief or decision you made due to a specific life event, experience, trauma or influence.
Once the root-cause has been revealed, the practitioner will guide you through a specific process that will uncover the patterns that are limiting you, and Reprogram the subconscious mind with new ones.
New empowering beliefs and decisions are imprinted to create new outcomes that align with the life, emotions, health and actions you desire.
Think of it like a “software” upgrade!
4. RESTORE: Now that the “software” that’s been running subconsciously has been reprogrammed, you’re like a computer that’s been Restored to it’s original settings. Think of it like erasing your computer of the viruses, and installing new apps that are way cooler and more aligned with who you want to become. You’ve released baggage you may not have even realized you’ve been carrying, and you’ll notice magnificent change in your physical life begin to unfold.

Cupping (Fire and Slide cupping)

Fire cupping is the use of a glass cup and a flame source that sucks oxygen out of the cup and is quickly placed on the skin. This creates a suction cup affect on the body. Slide and stationary cupping helps release the fascia underneath the skin and is great for any type of tension or pain in the body. In Chinese Medicine, cupping is said to remove stagnation, which helps to move out any blockages, or congestion, that are happening at certain areas.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

The use of Chinese Herbal Medicine helps with various health issues including miscarriage, digestive disorders, psychological disturbances, and regulating hormones. Chinese Herbal Medicine can use single herbs or a combination of herbs to create a herbal formula. They come in a powder or pill form and are taken orally. Unlike most pharmaceuticals, Chinese Herbal Medicine is not needed for long periods of time. These formulas have gone through an evolutionary process of thousands of years so they are able to target the direct issue of imbalance, without affecting your bodies natural gut flora.

Gua Sha (Scraping)

Gua Sha is the scraping of the skin with a tool that has a slightly rounded edge. The tool is scraped across the skin to intentionally raise “Sha” (or petechiae – small red or purple spots on the skin from broken capillary blood vessels). It moves Qi, Blood and Fluids that contain metabolic waste that have built up in the muscle tissue. With a thin layer of oil on the skin, the tool glides across the surface of the skin and helps to relieve pain and tension in areas of the body.
